sense du gout

I have filled some pots with Lemon wedges , candy, salt and unsweetened cocoa.

i have talked with W. about the different foods he like encourage and thim to use words like sweet, sour, salty and bitter to describe the foods.  

 "Why are you frowning?  How does the ____taste?  Is it sweet, sour, bitter or salty?"  Understand when instead of sampling, children eat the foods they like.

Finally we have  talked about the tastes he like the best and not the best.
